BEST STRATEGIES TO PROTECT OUR SKIN

Good day friends,


Lately I've noticed that the weather is getting harsher than before, and most of the time it put our body in complete shambles, and the number one affected is our skin.

In order to protect our skin, what I can do is to share the best strategies that I know that can keep them healthy everyday.

    SUN PROTECTION


Everyone knows that the sun is one of the major factors that we have to protect our skin with, especially in summer or the peak hours when sun heat is unbearable. I know they do give us vitamins, but too much sun is not good! 

 

Sunscreen is the best, you can apply it every 2 to 3 hours or more in order to avoid sun burns that the sun can cause to your skin. Try getting sunscreens that have SPF 30 and above for full coverage.


Cover Ups is the classic way to protect our skin from the sun, by wearing clothes that have long sleeves, pants, and hats. And if you are going outside please avoid going out on peak hours that start around 10 AM.

     SKIN CARE ROUTINES


Having a skin care routine is good and a level up in protecting our skin, as this is like a massage for our skin!


Cleansing twice a day is a must! Avoid using harsh cleansing products and harsh movement when scrubbing as this will irritate the skin.


Moisturizer can help the skin to keep it hydrated, for this one you have to know your skin type as moisturizer is often based if you have oily, dry or both. 


Exfoliate you can do this regularly as this helps our skin to get rid of the dead skin cells and promotes cell turnover that will give us that smooth to touch feel.

    HEALTHY HABITS


Sleeping aims to sleep at least 7 to 8 hours as sleep deprivation is one of the causes of our skin worsening.


Hydration by drinking more fluids (water) helps not just inside but also outside our body, this is like one of the major rules that every professional and non-professional will tell us to do when it comes to health.


Balancing a good diet by eating a good amount of vegetables, fruits and meats give us essential nutrients that our body needs and the same goes to our skin.

If you have any skin problems it's not bad to seek professional help, dermatologists are the best when it comes to identifying when our skin is in need of treatment.
